The professor (no warrior or king) who for the first time united India and forced Alexander in 326BC to retreat being gravely injured single-handedly, embarked on what is known as Chanakya's wisdom: Yes, you can do it all

Hero of WW2 Winston Churchill reflected the above-mentioned Chanakya's rule, saying, "If u r going through hell, keep going, u have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life."

To Olya: I'm impressed of ur knowledge on this. He wasn't actually in the court of Maury but he created Maury dynasty in which he acted as Prime Minister. He exemplified that the professors can create a society and its rulers for greater good, which is in fact true because we all start from schools and teachers shape us. When the standing emperor Dhananda of Nanda dynasty refused to his call for unifying India to resist possible Greek attack and insulted him, he warned him that he would choose a child and cultivate a new emperor for the goodness of the society. He made it happen as he chose a child, who was bright but came from a poor oppressed family - Chandra Gupta whom he took as his disciple. After dismantling Nanda empire through his diplomacy and sending the Dhananda in exile, he took charge to unify many Indian states as the prime minister of Nanda dynasty and led/masterminded the final battle to force Alexander to retreat in which Chandra Gupta played a great warrior role. He awarded Chandra Gupta with the thorn to commence the new dynasty called Maurya - which was the greatest dynasty in India. After that he went back to his university to resume teaching and write his political science books. Certainly, the great Alexander was defeated by another exceptionally talented guy, seminally putting the foundation that pen is mightier than the sword!

So, what makes Chanakya so great is in that he defeated a giant warrior, Alexander, by pen instead of a sword which Alexander was holding
